Red City Radio's sophomore full-length album, "Titles," was recorded with the pressure of following up a beloved debut record. This isn't a rare experience in punk rock by any means, but where a band can make its mark is in how it responds to the pressure.
Red City Radio responded with 10 tracks that expand upon the punk structure they built with "The Dangers of Standing Still." The band grows in different directions, at times becoming grittier while in other cases sprawling out into new territory. With "Dangers" receiving massive praise from many outlets, including being featured as a top 5 release in Punknews.org's reader poll.
The band said in a statement: "The end result with 'Titles' is a punk-rock record that’s reliant on the “rock” side of things. There’s lots of vocal melodies, like you’re used to hearing with Red City Radio songs. But this album is a lot more personal, and there are a lot of things on here that our fans haven’t heard from us before. We think it’s our best work."
